Great news for all the TomTom fans: Today they have launched their newest navigational unit in the UK. This unit is an entry level model, but in some areas really surpasses the TomTom GO 300, which was the entry level model before the ONE.
Amongst it's most important features is the usage of the next generation GPS receiver chipset, the SiRFStar III chipset. This chipset is a lot more sensitive than the one that is used in the GO's. The main benefit of this is that there is hardly need for an external antenna anymore. This is also good news for people whose car's have heat-reflecting windshields. In most cases, the ONE also works just fine behind one of these windshields...
The UK launch price is £279.00, which should make the ONE a very attractive Christmas present...
By now we at MyTTG.com have already reviewed the new ONE. You can read an in-depth review here...
