TomTom offers Safety Camera installer

Monday November 7, 2005 - To simplify installing speedcam POI's onto your GO, TomTom released a Safety Cameras POI installer, and added it to the PLUS services.

Anyone who has a subscription to the Safety Camera POI service of TomTom PLUS can, starting today, install this service more easily on their GO. TomTom has developed an installer that does all the work for you. With this installer, adding the SafetyCams to your GO has become a very simple operation. You can download this piece of software from the PLUS section on the TomTom site.

In addition to that, TomTom has also started to offer Safety Camera POI's for Germany. Holland, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom were already available.
